Fort Bill WC – 4X Round Up

The mid point of the 4X World Cup season saw wins for Jared Graves and Jana Horakova, for Graves it was his 2nd win of the season, giving him a hefty 125 point lead from Joost Wichman while Horakova now leads the series by 40 points. I don’t have official numbers but the crowds on the hill through DH practice and 4X racing were bigger than I have seen for practice day over the last decade of Fort William World […]

Fort Bill WC – The Milway Files

Saturday dawned warm and sunny and has just got hotter and hotter. Dry, dusty and a real spectator friendly place to be at the moment. Qualification day today and big news was the state of Sam Hill. After the crash in which he mangled half his bike (see yesterdays repo for the mashed back wheel) he had done himself some serious damage. i-Dropoff – Innerleithen food delivery service

As there’s no cafe at the Innerleithen 7 stanes car park, everyone either has to come into town to pick up something to eat, or buy it before hitting the trails. As we have a lot of visiting bikers, walkers, fishers and golfers my idea is to help feed them what they want to eat, at a time that suits them, in a location of their choice. I also do a range of food for self-catering accommodation – meals, cakes, […]

iXS European Downhill Cup Rd1

This weekend saw the hugely popular European iXS Downhill Cup series come to Great Britain for the first time, Innerleithen was chosen as the venue to host first round of the race series.  Being the weekend before the second round of the UCI World Cup at Fort William there were many big name teams and riders entered for the race. It would be a good test for some of the best riders in the UK to compete against the top […]
