I have just saved myself over £35 !
If like me you have you have short arms and long pockets, you'll be amazed at the price match nonsense i have just come across...
Jessops have a website www.jessops.com. Jessops have another website www.tecno.co.uk
On www.jessops.com and in their retail outlets the portaflash LS1 light stand is £34.99.
on www.tecno.co.uk the portaflash LS1 light stand is £9.04.
SO:
Go into your local Jessops, ask for a Portastand - or anything else for that matter - and ask for a price match with their own Tecno website.
The total for one lightstand and a universal bracket inc. delivery of £3.99 was just £17.73.
The sales guy in the shop was amazed, but he stood by the price match. Maybe Jessops aren't as bad as i thought.

So Jessops will price match online prices? Got a good deal on the Lowe Pro backpack I was after on there (the cheap one!). Unfortunately not quite so bargaintastic on the flash I was after.....the hunt continues.
Shame they cant give any
Shame they cant give any advice to save their lives, thats 2 weekends in a row I have gone in with £200 in my pocket to spend and they have been unable to advise what models will work with my camera.
