A couple of weeks back I clumsily dropped my trusty Fuji S7000 on my kitchen floor, breaking the lense. After being quoted up to £180 from local camera shops I found out that the nice people at www.fujifilm.co.uk do a flat fee £99.99 repair service (which includes an extension to your warranty of 12 months) or, a very tempting trade in service to get yourself a shiny new model.

No prizes for guessing which option I went for.......

A shiny new S9600, I would have liked to go for something fancier but seeing as I had not planned on splashing out on a new camera at the moment I figured this would happily suit the level my photography is currently at, another couple of years and I will finally make that SLR jump!
