I’m not sure if there are collectors of vintage DH bikes in the same way that there are when it comes motorbikes, but…
I have an 1999 Tomac 204 Magnum, its pretty close to team spec except for a recently serviced pair White Bros USD180 (with direct mount stem) in lieu of a Manitou X-Vert Carbon, a FSA Slim Jim instead of a Tioga Multi-control XL seat, Race Face XY seat post, Chris King headset and a XTR derailleur instead of a SRAM. So very little needs changing or adding to make a Tomac replica.

"The President of Yamaha has spoken of the shock felt within the company at the death of long-time rider Norick Abe in a road traffic accident in Japan.
Former works Grand Prix and World Superbike star Abe died in hospital yesterday evening from injuries sustained when he collided with a lorry in Kawasaki City.
Reports say the truck performed an illegal U-turn in front of Abe, who was unable to take avoiding action. He was riding a 500cc scooter at the time of the accident.
In Sainsburys, I’m not sure if every supermarket sees Dirt on it’s shelves or what? I pretty stoked that’s its there amongst all of the regular magazines, I think it shows how far Dirt has come and how far the scene has come in the UK

as it's a blatant add for Yeti its nice to see nice clear footage as opposed to the You tube stuff. Nothing against YT but watching something similar to Crimewatch CCTV footage does get a little bit tiring on the eyes. Perhaps its time for some new additions to the DVD collection?

I'm sad to announce that by the time you read this, the Utopia Optics mountain bike & bmx program will be no more.
Due to internal circumstances, Utopia Optics has decided to cut its funding to many of its departments and programs, most notably the bike department.
Better watch this when the US is still sleeping if you watch it in one go.
My fave rider won the 450's if only he can get his head together (see post race press conference) it could be a win every race.
How cool is Jason Lawrence, nice to see someone who isn't an just another MX industry robot who's had their personality removed.
