It’s hot out, so much so, even the Aussies are commenting on it. Mont Saint Anne is in it’s 26th year on the World Cup circuit in 2015, yet it is still exciting to be here, and the track is looking rugged as usual. There have been some changes to the track, much to the surprise and chagrin of a fair few riders. Most notably, the famed step-down-hip is out, and a new step-up into a wild looking rock-roll-huck is in. We’ll see how it shakes out, but it seems to be another amendment to a track based on the UCI’s 2015 theme of “slow the tracks down”. Shame really in this case. The rest of it looks pretty straight-forward, with some new bits and bobs, but still retaining, “that MSA feel”.
The dynamic due of Wilko and Wacko is unfortunately not in effect this week, as Tommy is sorting out World domination back across the pond. So, it’s up to Zach this weekend to get all the bangers and roll out the content for DW…no pressure.
