Happy Christmas!!
So what’s occurrin’ then? Well first off we want to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas!! Everything has been a bit hectic around here as we’re packing up and moving HQ between Christmas and New Year.
So where are we off to?
Cardigian, West Wales to be exact, think howies clothing…
Why?
Opportunities come in many forms and rather than ending up somewhere flat, we choose a spot with a great relaxed scene which is ideal to bring up a young family. With trails and beaches all within close proximity, the choice was pretty easy. Plus the fact is that Wales seems to have more tracks and races series than any other country on the planet does somewhat cushion the blow!
Having been on the cards for the last 6 months it still doesn’t make it any easier. Especially with the current weather conditions making it a little challenging to say the least.
What’s going to change with descent-world?
Nothing at all, you can no doubt expect even more features from the Welsh riding scene along with all the other regular features we’ve been running. We’re kinda local to Brechfa’s trail center so if you see someone looking lost please stop and say hello. Doug is staying in Edinburgh so he is now the main contact in Scotland, whereas HQ will be based with myself in West Wales.
As many of you who know me, you will know that I will still miss Scotland dearly, after all my Wife and kids are Scottish. No doubt I will still be seen pounding the trails at Inners and elsewhere long into the future!
I will dearly miss some great friends and trails I have come to know very well over the past 14 years as a Scottish resident but I’m looking forward to meeting even more friends and trails in the future. There’s always facebook these days anyhow ;>

Awesome mate – it’s an awesome bit of the country – loads of great riding, loads of great racing and loads of great trails! G’luck with it.
