MADE – The Premiere

Friday 13th, an unlucky day for some but not Callum Swift- the date for our first look at his new film- chartering the exploits of riders from all around the globe during this season.

Due to a work commitment I was stuck listening to the Vice Chancellor of Aston University harp on about global warming and CO2 emissions as the clock ticked to 9pm – I am afraid to say I arrived as the film had just begun (hence lack of more pics!)

The film was impressive – a captive audience oo’d and aah’d at the action and it covers a good mix of trail riding, world cup racing, Mega action and Dirt Jump craziness.

The highlight footage wise was certainly the section covering the World Champs. Steve Peat looked a little embarrassed as he received a MASSIVE round of applause and cheers as the film played out his emotion of winning this exclusive and much coveted race. Brilliant to witness.

Callum has really hit the mark with this – although the format isn’t anything new. A behind the scenes look would certainly be a fresh approach to this genre of film making but the quality of the footage, the variety and above all the soundtrack was top notch. The sound track really was excellent – I am off to track it down on i-tunes (where it is apparently available).

Thanks to Monster for the support to the event, Good on The Custard Factory for timing a Drum and Bass night for us to walk into, and good on Callum for following up his last film with a next level follow up (go and check out the sound track!).

Here’s the trailer again..
